Went to high school in Lake Worth, Florida and has been in marital arts since he was 16. Describe his trainng as a philosophy, not a style. Scientific street fighting, realistic scenarios in life situations, like fighting out of a chair, 2 3/4/5 on 1 fights etc. Primary focus is on training. Admires Kazushi Sakuraba from Pride, says he is amazing on the ground. Wants to fight Quinton Jackson, wants to test what he has agianst him. Trains 4-5 times a week , 2 hours a day; includes running & circuit exercises. His been in grappling tournatments, amateur bouts, 2-1 records. Nickname " The Saint" comes from his coach, plays on his last name and coach says he doens't look like a saint.
