Born and raised in Bozeman, MT went to Park High School and obtained an assocates degree at the age of 17. Brandon did not box or wrestle in high shool and did no mixed martial arts. He went to the marines after graduation and served for 5 years as a sniper.. He traveled to many countries when in the service, including Iraq, Okinawas, the PHillippines, East Timor. He has a huge appreciation of what we have in America, says when Americans travel they go to resorts, don't see the countries the way he saw them; wished more Americans realized what we have here. Brandon describes himself as very patriotic. He is part of team to help East Timor puch back Muslim extremeists, build hospitals, libraries, etc. Brandon received training from the Dept of State; defensive tactics founded by the Shamrock Brothers; MCMA ( Marine Corp Martial Arts):discovered that he loved grappling; continued traning off and on throughout military career. When he contracted with Triple Canopy, met guys training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu; trained with as many people oversees as he could. He trains now at Gracie Tampa under Rob Kahn; averaged 3-5 hours each day. His goal is to esablish a career in MMA;" pursue as aggressively as I can and go as far as I can" He strives to be like Brandon Vera, a well-rounded fighter. He has no girlfriend says, he is "taking applications"
